Lol today we went to the Darul Makmur Mosque in Yishun . It is a earning journey for "us" , the non-muslims, to learn more about the roles of mosques in Singapore . It is also a "journey" for as to learn How to be with a muslim. We learn how to greet your muslims friends . Like a.... As-Salaa- mu -alaikum ( forgive me for the wrong spelling ) this phase mean that peace be unto you . We also learn that the muslims will have to pray five time a day . 1st pray is at dawn ,2nd is at noon, 3rd is at late afternoon ,4th is at after sunset ,5th is at night. then we learn that there are some Haram (forbidden) things for the muslims . Some of the common things we know like -they cannot eat pork , they cannot eat food that is not halal ( meaning that the animals that are not kill in the lawful way ). The female muslims can only shake hands with their same gender and thier family member . When the muslims pray in the mosque the women and the men will be separate . "Host" to let them a "pure" mind during praying.So this is the best i remember THank you ......... LOL tomorrow we ( sec 3) are going to the Ubin adventure camp .
